ReeVo is an Italian cloud and cybersecurity provider focused on infrastructure services, archiving and managed services, delivered from four Tier IV data centres in Italy and Spain. As cloud-native services grew in importance, ReeVo set out to take its Managed Cloud Services to the next level: a modern, hyperscale-like approach based on Kubernetes, with high automation and security, while saving resources and operational effort.
After proof-of-concept testing, ReeVo partnered with Clastix and implemented both of its open-source multi-tenancy solutions. Capsule partitions shared infrastructure into isolated, secured slices, so multiple tenants use the same clusters without being aware of each other — the basis of ReeVo's Container-as-a-Service tier. For customers needing a dedicated cluster, Kamaji runs each tenant's control plane as an application inside a management cluster rather than on its own set of virtual machines, which is what makes Kubernetes-as-a-Service affordable at scale. Clastix integrated both with Rancher, so cluster administration, resource utilisation and security are managed from one place while tenant autonomy is preserved.
The result is a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform that serves hundreds of tenants efficiently, with governance, security and policy enforcement offloaded to the Capsule and Kamaji engines and the SRE team's time freed up — backed by 24/7 enterprise support for system stability and security.
