Marketing · Full-time · Remote (Europe)
We are looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to translate deep technical capability into compelling stories, demos, and content that drive enterprise adoption of our Kubernetes platforms. You will sit at the intersection of engineering, product, marketing, and pre-sales — owning the technical narrative behind kMetal and Kamaji, and stepping directly into customer conversations when technical depth is needed to win.
Produce technical content: whitepapers, reference architectures, solution briefs, and competitive teardowns.
Build and maintain hands-on demos, sandboxes, and live workshops that showcase kMetal and Kamaji in realistic enterprise scenarios.
Partner with product and engineering to translate roadmap and release notes into customer-ready positioning and launch material.
Join customer-facing calls alongside sales and pre-sales — running technical demos, answering deep architectural questions, and helping move complex enterprise deals forward.
Lead proof-of-concept and evaluation workshops with prospects, translating their requirements into reference architectures on kMetal or Kamaji.
Represent Clastix at conferences, webinars, and partner events — speaking, demoing, and engaging with the community.
Own technical messaging frameworks: outcome-led narratives that differentiate us against vCluster, Rancher, Tanzu, and Mirantis.
Enable sales, pre-sales, and partners with battle cards, demo scripts, and objection-handling material.
Strong hands-on Kubernetes background — you have operated production or production-grade clusters, understand the control plane internals (etcd, kube-apiserver, controllers, scheduler), and can debug them under pressure.
Solid systems fundamentals: Linux, networking (routing, overlays, load balancing), container runtimes, and storage primitives. Bonus if you have touched virtualization (KVM) or bare-metal provisioning.
Comfortable reading and writing code — Go or Python for tooling and demos, plus the IaC stack (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, GitOps with Argo CD or Flux).
Deep familiarity with the cloud-native ecosystem: Cluster API, multi-cluster operations, observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry), security and policy (OPA, Kyverno), and the broader CNCF landscape.
Strong written English and the ability to turn technical depth into clear, engaging content for senior technical audiences.
Comfort presenting live and in customer-facing technical conversations — demos, conference talks, PoCs, architecture deep-dives — and able to represent the product credibly to senior technical buyers.
Self-directed — able to define and ship technical marketing programs without waiting to be told what to build.
Experience at a Kubernetes, infrastructure, or platform-engineering vendor.
Background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering before moving into a marketing-adjacent role.
Track record of community engagement: CNCF contributions, conference talks, popular technical content.
Familiarity with bare-metal, virtualization (KVM), or multi-tenant Kubernetes.
Work at the forefront of the cloud-native revolution on a category-defining Kubernetes platform.
A high-leverage role with direct access to founders, product, and engineering — your work shapes how the market sees us.
Remote-first culture across Europe with a results-driven, low-bureaucracy environment.
Budget for conferences, training, and community engagement.
Competitive compensation and the chance to grow with a fast-scaling, well-funded company.
Depending on experience, our gross salary range is between 50.000 and 65.000 EUR. Candidates entitled to a valid work permit for Italy will be employed under a permanent contract regulated by Italian laws.
EU citizens, as well as individuals with a valid EU work permit, may engage under a B2B independent contractor agreement.
